You'll see some of the most breathtaking views of your life as you climb some of the world's most iconic mountains made legendary by the Tour De France. Each day we provide expert guidance on the road, with vehicle back up, and transport your luggage from point to point to each hotel. Accommodation is half board throughout the week and we also provide airport transfers to the start point in Hendaye, and to the departure airport. Places are limited so book early!!!
Day 1 is a nice warm up as we say goodbye to the Atlantic ocean and set off from Hendaye, heading east, towards our end goal, the Mediterranean Sea. We'll cover 142km and climb 3 cols with a total altitude gain of 2500m by the time we arrive in Arette.

Today is a good test of the legs and although relatively short at 108km, features some serious climbing. We'll take in 3 cols en route, with some amazing scenery, including the famous Col D'Aubisque which at 16.8km long with an average gradient of 7.1%, will certainly give you a huge sense of accomplishment when you reach the summit.

With 4 cols lined up like sharks teeth, today is the queen stage taking in one of the highest paved roads in the French Pyrenees. We'll cover 113km, and climb the famous Col Du Tourmalet which is 19km long and 7.4% average gradient.
Our destination is Bagneres De Luchon, and with some of the most breathtaking scenery along the way, we will make sure there are plenty of photo opportunities.

Although todays profile doesn't look particularly mountainous, don't be fooled!!! We'll cover 142km with 3092m of climbing! Epic views are the order of the day as we head to our destination, and a wonderful 17km descent to the hotel.

The penultimate ride day and the Mediterranean is in sight. Today we climb to the second highest point of the trip, to an altitude of 1920m.

The final day of riding, and a wonderful sense of achievement in arriving at the beach in Cerbère to jump into the Mediterranean Sea! You'll have covered 725km and climbed 15,764m, almost the height of two Mount Everests!!!! You'll be rewarded with a medal as a momento of the occasion before we head off to the nearest bar for some cold beers and a party!!!
